You will need:
2 quarts of turkey stock (Recipe on my blog.)
1 small onion, chopped (You choose the color.)
4 celery stalks, cut up
3 or 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
Leftover turkey (You decide how much)
1 1/2 cups bowtie pasta
Salt/pepper to taste
Add bowtie pasta, and if desired, salt & pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until pasta is done.
I’m not exactly sure what my cost was for this recipe, but since I used homemade turkey stock, leftover turkey, and excess vegetables from Thanksgiving, the only additional cost was the pasta and I think I purchased it for less than $1.
Makes 6-8 servings.
