Day 7 Organized: Coffee/Hot Beverage Service for Guests
Having guests for brunch? Overnight or weekend guests?
Organize your hot beverage service for them and you’ll save time helping them locate everything, plus it makes them feel comfortable enough to help themselves.
Make fresh coffee and a fresh carafe of very hot water for tea and cocoa. I also provide a French Press for those who like a stronger or weaker coffee than what I brew.
Set out plenty of cups for your guests. Provide a saucer to prevent spills and a napkin. I like to do a swan fold and put it in the cups.
I grouped the teas into a dish, and put cocoa packs in another. On a small silver tray, I put flavored creamers out. I provided sugar cubes, half & half, Splenda, and flavored syrups. I used demitasse spoons instead of coffee stirrers just because I like them and don’t use them often. 🙂
You can use this in any setting, even with styrofoam and plastic baskets if that’s what you’d like to do, or you can fancy it up with your finest china, and best linens. I went in the middle because that was an informal brunch.
